"I think it’s great for two people to be together. That is a good number. I think, that to keep it alive though, you can’t spend every day together. It wears out the magic, Love means nothing to me if it’s not fortified with fierce, painful longing, brief explosive instances of furious passion and intimacy and then a sad parting for a time. In that way, you can give your life to it and still have a life of your own. I think some couples spend too much time together. They flatten out the potential for experience by constant closeness. Passion builds over time like steam. Let it rage until it’s exhausted and then leave it alone to let it build up again. Why can’t love be insane and distorted? How can it be vital if it has the same threshold as normal day-to-day experience? Why can’t you write burning letters and let your nocturnal self smolder with desire for one who is not there? Why not let the days before you see her be excruciating and ferment in your mind so on the day you go to the airport to pick her up, you’re nearly sick with anticipation? And then when desire shows the first sign of contentment, throw it back it its cage and let it slowly build itself back into a state of starved fury. Then when you are together, it all matters. So that when you look into her eyes, you lose your balance, so that when she touches you, it feels like you have never been touched before. When she says your name, you think it was she who named you. When she has gone, you bury your face in the pillow to smell her hair and you lie awake at night remembering your face in her neck, her breathing and the amazing smell of her skin. Your eyes go wet because you want her so bad and miss her so much. Now that is worth the miles and the time. That matches the inferno of life. Otherwise you poison each other with your presence day after day as you drag each other through the inevitable mundane aspects of your lives. That is the slow death that I see slapped on faces everywhere I go. It’s part of the world’s sadness that’s more empty than cold, poorly lit rooms in cities of the American night."

Two days ago, you guys stepped up once again to show the world just how much we care about protecting the Internet. Together, we generated more than 140,000 calls to Senators, spent more than 4,200 hours on the phone with their staffers, and blacked out 650,000 of our blogs to make our point and inspire others to get involved. And what’s more, this was on top of the 90,000 calls we sent to members of the House of Representatives a month ago. Incredible.
It’s now becoming clear just how much impact our action is having. On January 18th, only 31 members of Congress opposed these bills. Just one day later, 101 members of Congress publicly stood with us in opposition. We are being heard.
And as of today, it looks like both the Senate PIPA and House SOPA bills have been shelved, for the moment. It seems pretty likely that the bills won’t pass as written—a big first win. We now hope that Internet companies, the creative community and the content industry join together to innovate and devise new partnerships to combat online piracy. We’re confident there are effective ways to do this without damaging the Internet or diminishing our freedoms.
You’ve made a big difference in keeping the Internet a safe and open place for creators. Thank you again.
The Boyfriend/Best friend
Sometimes, when your girlfriend is feeling down, it is best to know that she can come to you as her best friend for help. When she is feeling sad, she wants to know that you are reliable. She wants to know that you still care. If she doesn’t talk, keep talking to her. Don’t let her forget about it but if she wants to drop it, just be there to support her. She needs to know that you put ‘friend’ first before the “boyfriend”. When she needs you at her lowest, will you be there for her or will you let her go? As the boyfriend, not only are you to be her lover, you are to be her best friend. She needs someone she can trust to talk to. This also is vice-versa for the girls to support their boyfriend.
You know what hurts the most ?
Reminiscing how we were from the beginning, how it all changed and how we got to this point. Isn’t it funny how we were two people that were so sprung for each other, we were full of many smiles, laughs and butterflies. Then all of a sudden everything changed, and we reached this point where we can’t even last a day without fighting and arguing, we can’t even have a decent phone call without one of us hanging up. So one question, when did our smiles, laughs and butterflies turn into fights, arguments and hatred for one another?
Once you have me, don’t stop doing the things you once did to “get” me.
Don’t stop sending me those cute silly text messages that you would always send me, just to simply tell me that I’m on your mind. Because even though to you it may seem like it’s nothing big, to me, every-time I get those text messages, the biggest smile appears over my face and you send butterflies storming through my stomach. Don’t stop telling me how much I mean to you because if you don’t express your feelings for me from time to time, I’ll get confused and start to think that you’ve lost interest in me. I’m not asking for red roses every-day, and a box of chocolate from you. I’m just please asking you to never stop showing your affection towards me. Because not only does that shit hurt, but I’ll get mixed thoughts running through my mind about it all.

What I Would Do
This is a song my boyfriend made for me. Throughout our whole relationship he has been the most caring and supportive boyfriend I could ever ask for. He is always there for me, to give me strength when I’m weak. He is not only my boyfriend, but my best-friend and I can’t imagine life without him. However, like all relationships, it’s not always perfect. Although we’ve been through great hardships that seem too painful to overcome we are able to conquer them together. We love each other so much that no matter what happens we know we will make it. Every time I look at him, I see my future. He is the person I want to spend my whole life with and we are going to make that happen, despite the odds. I love you so much baby and I am ready for the great adventures that are in store for us.
